Let’s talk about assets and online presence. NOBODY will give you 30 minutes of their time for a sales call if you don’t even have a website or a landing page.
Nobody will invest money in your services if they’ve never seen your face or heard your voice before.
Think about it. Will you pay 2-3-5k upfront to someone that reaches out to you promising to make you more money when they don’t even have a website?
Nah, it’s not 2015 anymore.
That’s why if you want to succeed with your agency you need to have some sort of online presence which can be a landing page, a social media profile, online content, etc.
When someone reaches out to you, what’s the first thing you do? You go right to their profile or website to see who they are, and what kind of testimonials they have.
So how do we create assets that convert?
First of all, we need to set some priorities here.
1- Landing Page
2- VSL
3- Social Media Presence
Landing Page
Your landing page will be your presentation card. Every single prospect that gets interested in your email will visit your landing page and scroll through it.
Nowadays building landing pages is so fucking easy that is ridiculous. You have several options like CF, Carrd, Webflow.
If you’re just getting started then you’re probably fine with Carrd (make sure it doesn’t look like shit).
But don’t just copy other people landing pages, you need to have a clear headline with your offer statement, you need to have a section with your mechanism, testimonials (if existent), and your FAQ section where you answer potential objections before the call.
If the offer is good enough you don't need anything else, you don’t need a crazy design style, you don’t need crazy images or anything.
Just a decent copy and a VSL.
I’ll give you a few examples of a decent landing page:

It’s so fucking simple really. Always put the offer statement in the headline → Add VSL → Method → Social Proof.
VSL
What’s a VSL? A video sales letter. A video that explains your prospect who you are, what you do, who do you work with, etc.
These are the elements you need to include in the VSL:
- Offer Statement
- Concept (what is this about)?
- Who is this for?
- Who you are and what’s your experience
- Social proof (and case studies if existent)
- FAQ → Deal with objections
- CTA
Nowadays a VSL is crucial because it can distinguish you from the competition and you can warm up the prospect prior to the call.
Not only that, but you also give them a clear idea of what’s your mechanism and protocol. If they buy it they’ll jump on a call, if they don’t, well you save yourself some time.
The purpose of the VSL is to shorten your sales cycle.
Instead of getting a prospect asking you a thousand of questions about how you work, they’ll jump on a call already knowing what’s your process.
They’ll just ask you a couple of questions, they’ll ask about price or structure and that’s it.
Maybe you’ll get a couple of objections, but that’s inevitable.
How do we record a VSL?
You don’t need crazy tools, you just need Loom. You’ll write a google doc explaining who you are, who do you work with, what’s the process like, what’s the outcome, and what’s the alternative if they don’t work with you.
Then you’ll run a loom video of yourself going over the document commenting on it and clarifying some things.
Don’t trim it, don’t edit it, it needs to be raw af. But look decent, and have a clean background.
It should last ideally less than 15 minutes. And once you have it ready upload it to Vimeo or youtube and embed it into your website.
It should look something like this (it’s in Spanish because it’s my latam agency lol):
Social Media Presence
This is a complex topic and I’d spend days and days talking about this. I’m not an expert on social media by any means.
In fact, I started putting effort into social media 3 months ago. But until now I got 1600+ followers and I get inbound leads every 2 days.
Here are some of the messages I get (keep in mind I don’t promote my agency, I just teach other folks how to build one):
Imagine a situation where you get people asking to work with you in the dms every single week. You just need to jump on a call, let them know who you work and close them.
When an inbound lead comes in you have unlimited authority. You can charge more and you can get a better deal.
Why? Well, simply because they came to you. You didn’t reach out to them in the first place.
But where do you start?
I highly recommend you start on Twitter. You don't need a crazy film setup, you don’t need to record videos. You just post your thoughts and pieces of knowledge you can share with other people.
You need to align with what you want and with the audience you want to attract, don’t talk about mindset, fitness, etc. if you’re selling marketing services.
8k random followers are worst than 500 targeted ones. So don’t chase followers, attract sales.
So always stick to your offer. Are you helping other businesses with leads? Talk about it.
Are you helping them with content? Then talk about it.
Are you helping them with getting girls? TALK ABOUT IT.
But keep in mind you’ll need to be consistent and you won’t see results for a long time. I didn’t start getting inbound leads until I got to 500+ followers.
But once you get to that point, you’ll never run out of clients. There will always be someone that will reach out to you.
How did I get 1600+ followers? I tweeted 3 times a day for months. I interacted with accounts every day, I did a thread every week, and I did auto DMs.
And most importantly. I provided VALUE.
Once you dominate a platform you’ll ideally want to expand to others like Youtube, IG, etc.
At least that’s my plan.
Now if you combine all of this there’s no chance you wont make 10k/mo in 6 months. But again, this will only work if you’re consistent.
If you tweet one day and the next one you forgot it won’t work.
If you do outreach for one week and then you stopped, it won’t work.
If you did the VSL and it looks like shit, it won’t work.
If you did the landing page with minimum effort and looks like shit, IT WON’T WORK.
You need to put effort into this, don’t be like the average people in this industry.
Do things with intention and drive, or don’t do them at all.
Now, try this for a few months and stack cash. If you have questions about this you can always reach out to me in the dms.
Cheers,
Camilo
